If you miss Souplantation, this place will serve you well. It has the same set-up, same ambiance (casual, family-friendly, bustling), and same type of food. The salad is fresh and toppings well-stocked. The line can get long during meal times, but it is managed well and the staff is friendly and efficient. A pleasant surprise for me was the cream of mushroom soup! That was my favorite of the offerings! The only downside is the location- only because this is a long drive for me!

My brother and I came to this restaurant ten minutes before it opened and there was a very small line waiting for it to open. When I first got here the line was almost around the block. It's still busy but not as hectic as last year.

Most people remember Souplantation. It was a part of everyone's restaurant rotation before we all got fat. Unfortunately the pandemic put the final nail on the coffin of self serve buffet style restaurants. Now it's 2024 remove your mask skip the hand sanitizer dispenser and serve your self up some salad and soup. Soup n Fresh is here to try to get you to eat better. I don't know about the others but our local Rancho Cucamonga location always has a long line so be prepared to wait. Once inside you go straight in to the salad buffet. Pro tip here. Go light on the salad cause once you get past the salad there is a lot of good stuff waiting. A big variety of soups from minestrone to chili to clam chowder. Lots of bread's cheese toast even whole baked potatoes. So have your salad but really get your money's worth by loading up on the good stuff. Leave the leafs to the rabbits. BTW pretty cheap for an all you can eat joint. $16.99 not bad at all. Hurry before they raise their prices.

As all the other reviews say, it's Souplantation nostalgia and for those like my hubby & I that have missed it since the pandemic, it was good! We came for a late-lunch over Thanksgiving weekend. The wait was about 45 minutes still, but Soup 'n Fresh doesn't let you crowd thru in the salad line like Souplantation used to. They have a person checking how many people are in each party and seem to seat people as they are in line, instead of the filling the tables by the sizes they have available. I'm not sure this is more efficient, but they look to be busy most weekends, and this seating arrangement helps them keep the food quality & quantity in check, and the place clean. Prices are reasonable, compared to Souplantation before. They don't have a "seasonal" menu, but they still have the Caesar Salad and Asian Chicken Wonton Salad. Soups had minestrone, chicken noodle, tomato bisque, chili, etc. Baked goodies like their blueberry muffins, carrot cakes, baked potato and sweet potato. Pizza & pasta were good. Hubby thought most of the dishes actually taste a bit better than their predecessor. The chicken noodle soup actually had two & was filled with chicken!! I was amazed. Desserts had some fruits, arroz con leche, tapioca pudding and jello. Drinks (besides water) are extra. Wish this was closer to home, but we'll make the trip out probably for an occasional Souplantation fix! There is a 2 hour time limit, that they write on your receipt. Not sure how strictly they enforce it. Their restrooms were clean & was able to go use it while waiting in line since we had a long drive.

I was sooo excited to try soup n' fresh. Huge Sweet Tomatoes/Soup Plantation (RIP) fan right here! The day we went it wasn't too crowded and line moved quickly. The salad bar options were awesome and maybe even slightly more diverse than Sweet Tomatoes. The tuna salad pasta (my fave) was good but little more runny and fishy than I like. They had good pasta and soup options. I mixed cream of mushroom with chicken noodle soup (my go to)! The breads and muffins were not as good as Sweet tomatoes unfortunately. The cornbread was dry and so was the brownie but the carrot cake muffin was great. I got my tapioca pudding and jello craving fulfilled. Ice cream was decent but they only had dairy free ice cream so it wasn't my favorite. All of the items were stocked up whenever we went for food and the place was clean. Overall I will definitely go back again

It's definitely not souplantation-RIP. :( BUT it is the next best thing, so I make sure I stop by anytime I happen to be in the area. It's always clean and organized and the staff is great. The food is very similar. Definitely recommend the mushroom soup and the chicken noodle soup if you get the chance to try it! Only negative note is that you have to wait in line to get inside. Every time I've been here, I've waited at least 45min-1hour or more.

I'm surprised that the line is still crazy long between 1-4pm on the weekends. If you're standing on the sidewalk your wait will be about an hour and a half. They now require you to have your receipt on the table, cashier will write your party size circled with a 2 hour time stamp. Unfortunately, some people were taking advantage and staying 4-6 hours there. There's a new flat bread option Ritzy Grilled Cheese and it was so good, added crispy texture was much needed. Not sure if it was the long holiday weekend when I visited. But I didn't see either Pozole or Albondigas on Sunday. They had Tomato Bisque. You may want to call in to see if they what they currently have rotating.

Reminiscent of Souplantation! Doors open at 9:30am! I suggest getting there early because the line can get kind of long. Everything here is soooo good! They have the classic soups, pastas, baked potatoes, breads, and salads! My husband and I love this place. Don't forget to grab a soft serve on your way out! 10/10
